Naruemon is Thailand's leading pioneer in starch-based ingredients who is passionate about building a better world for the next generation. With over 30 years of experience and a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from Michigan State University, Naruemon currently leads Thai Wah's R&D business unit that operates and serves customers across
Asia. After spearheading the R&D innovation lab's initiation in Thailand, she now works alongside the National Science and Technology Development Agency, local and regional universities, and partner organizations across Asia, the US, and Europe to link and drive private sector and public sector strategic initiatives. She is passionate about building a better world for the next generation.
Ren Hua is currently Group CEO of Thai Wah Public Company Limited, responsible for developing the company's long-term vision as a leading plant-based ingredients and consumer foods company in SEA. The company has over 15 operations across five countries, driven by its commitment to creating innovation and value from farm to shelf. He was previously the Executive Director and Country Head, China for Banyan Tree Holdings Ltd, helping position the group as the leading luxury brand in China. Ren Hua previously worked with Bain & Company Inc in New York, Hong Kong, and China. He currently serves on the board for Banyan Tree Holdings Ltd, the advisory board for the Asia Pacific Agri-Innovation Summit, and the International Advisory Council for Singapore Management University. Ren Hua is also a mentor to the Kairos ASEAN society and is actively involved in entrepreneurship and venture capital activities. Ren Hua was nominated to be a part of the World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2018, and continues to be committed to developing solutions that will catalyze the SEA Green Economy, creating new platforms for shared value creation from farm to shelf.
Hataikan leads the Group Strategy, Innovation, and Farm Development for Thai Wah, where she provides strategic guidance to accelerates the organization's growth.
She has over 15 years of experience working across multiple industries, including Financial Services, Technology, Retail, and Business Consulting. Before joining Thai Wah, Hataikan was the Head of Strategy for Tesco, where she led and managed teams in defining strategic propositions through consumer needs and market opportunities. She since joined Thai Wah in 2019 and is currently advancing analytics and bio agri-tech innovations for the group in Southeast Asia to build sustainability from farm to shelf.
